Your role:
Warner Records is looking for a visionary Senior Manager of Marketing & Digital Strategy to lead high-priority global campaigns for our diverse roster of artists. This isn't just about "releasing records"-it's about architecting moments that move the needle in a hyper-fragmented digital landscape.
You are the primary marketing & digital strategist and project lead, sitting at the intersection of A&R, digital, publicity, and sales. You will be responsible for translating an artist's creative vision into a commercial powerhouse, ensuring that every rollout is as innovative as the music itself.
Here you'll get to:
• Lead Artist / Campaign Marketing and Digital Strategy Process
• Develop marketing and digital strategy across all phases of artist + campaign development that position our artists as global stars, differentiate them in the marketplace, ensure a unified story / creative across all consumer touch points and leads to commercial success.
• Create an overall Marketing and digital vision for the artist to be shared across the company
• Work with production and A&R oversee all product creation
• Lead Campaign Development. Collaborate with all departments to develop innovative, fully integrated marketing and digital campaigns that drive cultural relevance, audience growth, and commercial success.
• Drive revenue -Work with A&R / Commerce to develop music streaming and physical product ideas that generate incremental revenue and drive fandom
• Oversee the development and execution of innovative digital marketing campaigns for iconic rock and pop music artists at Warner Records.
• Manage team coordinator and their daily workflow
• Collaborate with internal teams including Commercial Revenue, Marketing, Brand Partnerships, Creative and Publicity, to build cohesive cross-platform campaigns.
• Oversee the day-to-day social media strategy, website, and CRM strategies for a designated roster of WR artists with a focus on driving fandom, engagement, and music consumption.
• Oversee and advise on strategy for artist social accounts including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, BeReal and others
• Partner with artists and management to craft a social narrative and content strategy for each artist that elevates their brands and drives fandom, cultural conversation and music consumption.
• Use expert-level knowledge of social platforms and social content strategies when partnering with artists and management to craft a social narrative and content strategy that elevates their brands and drives fandom, cultural conversation and music consumption
• Work with artist management and internal departments to develop and maintain an editorial calendar across all social platforms
• Partner with internal creatives and external creators to develop high-performing short-form content for Warner Records artists
• Work with our Insights team to profile our online audiences, building digital marketing strategies based on that demographic and psychographic data
• Build and maintain relationships with social media platform representatives and participate in regular update meetings
• Oversee Marketing budgets for designated roster
About you:
• 3-5 years of marketing experience at a Record Label or management company
• Proven Track Record: You have successfully led marketing and digital campaigns that resulted in measurable growth (e.g., Chart positions, RIAA certifications, or significant streaming milestones).
• Digital Fluency: Expert-level understanding of the DSP landscape (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) and social ecosystems (TikTok, Instagram, Discord).
• Communication: Exceptional presentation skills; you can sell a vision to an artist and a boardroom alike.
• Creative Thinking: Outside of the box marketing thinking, not doing the tried and true but finding new ways to connect to fans, drive streams and sales of Warner Records music
• Experience working with artists and managers on high level marketing & digital campaigns and full project rollouts
• Experience talking directly with DSP's and social media partners (TikTok, Meta, X, etc.) and pitching campaigns with them
We'd love it if you also had:
• Photoshop or creative skills
• Experience creating short form and viral content for music
• Great problem solving skills
• Experience working with content creators
• Deep knowledge of consumer and digital analytics
