Job Description
The Director, EMF Go-To-Market Lead is responsible for defining and executing segment-specific GTM strategies that accelerate adoption of Visa Direct and real-time payment solutions across high-velocity platforms, merchants, and ecosystem partners. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, sales, marketing, and product, with a mandate to expand the EMF ecosystem, unlock new use cases, and drive scalable growth across remitters, enablers, merchants, and fintech's.
The Director will lead a high-performing team, partner closely with Product, Sales and Marketing, and serve as an external ambassador for Visa Direct at industry events and strategic client engagements. This role requires deep expertise in real-time payments and money movement, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex, multi-rail solutions into clear customer and partner value.
Strategic GTM Leadership
  • Lead the development and execution of agile, scalable GTM strategies tailored to EMF segments, including remitters, enablers, merchants, and fintechs.
  • Drive adoption of real time payments and push payment solutions, including card based, account based, and wallet based payout models.
  • Identify priority use cases, platforms, and partner archetypes to scale Visa Direct and real time money movement across fast evolving digital ecosystems.
  • Translate Visa Direct and RTP capabilities into segment specific value propositions that support growth, differentiation, and ecosystem expansion.

Ecosystem Partner Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales to accelerate pipeline development, shape account level strategies, and drive ecosystem led opportunities.
  • Develop and execute partner strategies with fintech platforms, enablers, ISVs, and processors to scale real time funding and payout solutions.
  • Support complex, multi party opportunities and RFPs by providing ecosystem insights, RTP expertise, and solution design leadership.

Solution Value Articulation
  • Clearly articulate the value of Visa Direct and real time payment capabilities, including: Cross border and domestic real-time payouts, digital wallets, card and account based push payments, specialized value added services
  • Act as a subject matter expert on real time payments and modern money movement architectures, bridging product, commercial, and customer perspectives.
  • Enable internal and external stakeholders with compelling messaging, use cases, and proof points aligned to EMF customer needs.

Marketing Activation & Enablement
  • Partner with Marketing to shape integrated campaigns, thought leadership, and demand generation initiatives focused on real time payments and Visa Direct use cases.
  • Influence commercial constructs, packaging, and GTM motions that support platform led and ecosystem driven RTP adoption.
  • Ensure sales and partner teams are enabled with tools, messaging, and training to execute real time payment GTM strategies at scale.

Deal Pricing & RFP Leadership
  • Support EMF deal strategy, including pricing frameworks and commercial models for real time and push payment solutions.
  • Lead or support executive level RFP responses requiring deep understanding of RTP rails, ecosystem dependencies, and implementation models.
  • Provide escalation support for high priority and complex opportunities involving real time payments and multi rail architectures.

People Leadership & External Representation
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high performing GTM team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results.
  • Coach team members on strategic thinking, ecosystem led selling, and executive level communication.
  • Represent Visa Direct externally at industry events, conferences, and partner forums as a thought leader in real time payments and digital money movement.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• 10+ years of experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or related technology driven industries.
• Demonstrated experience working with real time payments, push payments, or modern money movement solutions, such as card based, account based, wallet based or digital asset rails.
• Proven experience leading go to market strategy, ecosystem partnerships, or commercial strategy in platform based or B2B environments.
• Strong understanding of payout, disbursement, and funds movement use cases across EMF segments.
• Demonstrated people management experience, including leading and developing high performing teams.
• Experience supporting complex deals, pricing strategy, and executive level RFPs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including executive and external audiences.
• Experience with Visa Direct, real time payment networks, or instant payment systems.
• Background working with or selling to fintech's, enablers, ISVs, marketplaces, or large merchants.
• Demonstrated success driving ecosystem led growth and multi partner GTM motions.
• Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, global organization.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
U.S. Applicants Only
The estimated salary range for this position is $192,300.00 to $ 307,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
