As a System Engineer – Database & Virtualization, you'll help build, support, and optimize the technology that powers our organization, ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable, and ready for the future.

What You'll Do
  • Design, manage, and optimize enterprise database environments, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and data integrity practices.
  • Design, implement, and support virtualization and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
  • Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, application, and data teams to support business objectives.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support disaster recovery and resiliency efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or a related technology role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with both relational and non-relational databases (Oracle SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar).
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience supporting VDI solutions such as Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware Horizon, or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, backup and recovery strategies, and infrastructure security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a financial institution or other regulated environment.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Experience with enterprise storage, monitoring, and observability tools.
  • Relevant Microsoft, Azure, or VMware certifications.
