CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.
Summary:
The Specialist, Information System Security III provides senior-level cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, and compliance oversight supporting enterprise modernization initiatives within the DHA CIMPLE environment. The role ensures secure operations of cloud, virtualization, and enterprise hosting platforms supporting mission-critical healthcare systems.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Lead cybersecurity engineering and compliance initiatives for enterprise cloud and virtualization environments.
  • Implement advanced security controls and monitoring solutions.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security audits.
  • Lead RMF accreditation and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Support incident response, remediation, and forensic analysis efforts.
  • Develop enterprise security policies, procedures, and technical standards.

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, and RMF processes.
  • Knowledge of enterprise virtualization, networking, and infrastructure security.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of experience in developing public, private, hydrid, or multi-Cloud Computing solutions within a Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, and/or Infrastructure as a Service platform to enable data, servers, networks, storage, development tools, and/or applications through a cloud computing environment.
  • Experience required in Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, or Azure Cloud providers.
  • The contractor shall have a TOP SECRET (TS) facility clearance (FCL) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access (TS/SCI).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
  • Experience supporting DHA, MHS, NIWC Atlantic, or Federal healthcare IT programs
