Job description


Infosys is seeking a Citrix Virtualization Lead Consultant. This position will interface with key stakeholders and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions across both persistent and non-persistent environments, supporting On-Premises and Citrix Cloud deployments. Required Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Wichita (KS) or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). The eligible candidates must be US Citizens only.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Citrix CVAD, Citrix Cloud, and Citrix Gateway.
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows OS internals.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience in Ivanti Application Control and Environment Manager is preferred.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in EUC and virtualization.
  • Familiarity with HP Thin Client management is a plus.
  • Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skill.
  • Migrate users to VDI environments.
  • VDI lifecycle management - updates, upgrades, patching.
  • Ability to work independently, within general guidelines or best practices and manage complex technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
