Job description

VMware - Sr. NSX Consultant - Hill AFB, Utah - Secret Clearance Entelligence is seeking a Sr. Consultant to support VMware’s clients. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from Entelligence, VMware, and the end-user. The Consultant will function as the VMware products Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will interact directly with the customer's personnel. The Sr. Consultant will serve as the technical expert on executive-level project teams within the customer providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives. The Sr. Consultant contributes to the development of new principles and concepts, works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. A Secret Clearance and US citizenship is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Deploy and Configure NSX Security
Deliver Solution Specification and Verification Workbooks
Conduct Knowledge Transfer Sessions
Deliver Adoption Guide
Drive projects alongside our SMEs to solve complex problems for our most strategic customers
Take responsibility for the delivery of projects within the constraints of schedule, scope, features/functionality, and budget
Monitor and report on all aspects of your projects including progress, project profitability, forecasted hours, risks, communications and customer concerns
Work with the Resource Managers to ensure that your projects have the best people with the right skills and at the right time.
Contribute to and lead the development and maintenance of VMware PMO standards, processes, and practices
Maintain a high-level technical knowledge of the VMware software stack. (Full training and enablement provided) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Active Secret Clearance
Experience deploying and configuring NSX
Experience with Demos & Presentations
Ability to implement Best Practices with Enterprise Customer
Experience in customer facing, problem solving positions
Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
