Regional CIT Manager

The Job Details:

The Regional CIT Manager is responsible for overseeing the regional operational support network and working collaboratively alongside them to improve efficiencies and reduce costs in our operations. This job plays a critical role for improving the outcomes and results of the West region operations. This position will be largely responsible for understanding and supporting existing warehouse technology as well as helping support day to day operations team, and the operational support network. The Continuous Improvement Manager will also aid the region with financial project justifications, implementations, and support of potential new industry solutions.

· Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to drive results within the West region operations and throughout the overall organization (Safety, Quality, Customer, Logistics, and Finance)

· Train, mentor, and lead the West Region Operational Support Networks

· Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

· Conduct thorough assessments of existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Lead cross-functional improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet predefined objectives.

· Help develop, monitor, and communicate project plans, timelines, and budgets with Operational Teams

· Implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of process improvements.

· Work with the operational support network to create and implement specific training to support continuous improvement culture within the operations.

· Monitor and help teach data-driven insights to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

· Stay current with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies related to continuous improvement.

· Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs while maintaining or improving product/service quality.

· Implement lean principles and methodologies to optimize workflows.

· Support and aid in the troubleshooting of Help desk issues reported by the Operations teams when needed.

· Strive for continuity in business practices, system utilization and business intelligence at each facility.

What We Are Looking For:

Education

• High School diploma or its GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations management, engineering or a related field, or the equivalent in related work experience.

• Certification in continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Experience

• 1 or more years’ experience driving improvement and leading projects.

• 2 or more years of experience in warehouse operations and processes.

• Specialized in skills in Warehouse Management Systems, Warehouse Operations and Warehouse RF equipment.

• Knowledge of MS Office applications as needed to satisfactorily perform work assignments – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint as well as can learn company enterprise systems as needed.

• Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.

• Use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems and meeting and virtual platform sharing relative to the needs of the job.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.

• Change management or Implementation experience

• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

• Examples of taking problem solving to improvement with measurable results.
