School Paraprofessional | Virtual Therapy Facilitator

Description:
Detroit, Michigan | $20 per hour | Full Time, 35 hours per week

Bilingual Therapies is hiring multiple Paraprofessional Facilitators to support special education students from kindergarten through grade 12 with Detroit Public Schools Community District.

THE ROLE

Escort students to and from scheduled virtual therapy sessions, prepare computers and materials, help students connect with their teletherapist, and remain present to support attention, participation, and appropriate behavior.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, comfort supporting special education students, and basic computer and troubleshooting skills. Previous school experience is preferred but not required.

BENEFITS INCLUDE

W2 contract, weekly pay every Friday, medical, dental, and vision insurance options, 401(k) options, professional development, and ongoing clinical and administrative support.

ONBOARDING

Candidates must complete all DPSCD clearance requirements, including free district fingerprinting and required facilitator training.
