Position Overview

This position serves as the primary project coordination and relationship-management contact between the Technical Sales Support team and the Oil & Gas and Mining business units. The Project Manager builds and maintains effective working relationships with these partner organizations, coordinates incoming requests, clarifies priorities and deliverables, and provides consistent communication regarding status, risks, decisions, and next steps.

The role also manages the planning and execution of business-process automation initiatives, including the Feedback Tool and other workflow, reporting, and process-improvement projects. The Project Manager works with business stakeholders, process owners, developers, and leadership to define requirements, establish project plans, track milestones and dependencies, facilitate decisions, manage risks, and drive projects through implementation and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and project coordinator between the Technical Sales Support (TSS) team and the Oil & Gas and Mining business units, fielding requests from Sales and Engineering Managers and coordinating TSS response.
  • Manage timelines, milestones, and task completion for Feedback Tool development and other business-process automation projects from initiation through implementation and adoption.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, process owners, developers, and leadership to define requirements, build project plans, and track dependencies.
  • Identify and manage project risks, facilitate decisions, and document outcomes, owners, and next steps.
  • Provide consistent, executive-level communication on project status, risks, decisions, and upcoming milestones.
  • Collaborate with virtual Mining and Oil & Gas team members as well as onsite teammates in Alpharetta; occasional travel for in-person meetings.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred 5-7 years of project management experience (PMP-level) OR
  • Associate's degree will be considered with 8-10 years of project management experience.
