What does a virtual testing coordinator do?

A Virtual Testing Coordinator is responsible for organizing, overseeing, and managing remote or online assessments for educational institutions, certification bodies, or organizations. They also coordinate with instructors, proctors, and IT staff to ensure a smooth testing experience. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and familiarity with testing platforms are essential in this role.

Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and customer service orientation help you manage test-taker inquiries and resolve technical or procedural issues. Tia

Los Angeles, CA • On-site

Full-time

Job description

About Tia

Tia is building a new model for women's healthcare, one that treats women as whole people rather than as separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.

About the Role

We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with strong gynecology and women's health experience to provide care in a fully virtual setting.

This role is specifically focused on expanding Tia's virtual gynecology capacity. We are seeking either a provider whose core clinical background is in gynecology or women's health, or a broadly trained provider who has significant experience providing both gynecologic and primary care services.

Although Tia's care model is comprehensive, our greatest current need is for providers who can independently evaluate and manage a broad range of gynecologic and reproductive health concerns through telehealth. This is not a general primary care-focused opening.

As a member of Tia's virtual care team, you will provide evidence-based, patient-centered care while helping Tia continue to develop and refine its virtual women's health model.

Why Tia
  • Built-in protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration, including dedicated weekly management time aligned across markets
  • AI-supported documentation designed to reduce charting burden
  • Quarterly bonus and equity, which are not typical in many clinical roles
  • The opportunity to help build and shape a new model for women's healthcare
  • A multidisciplinary clinical model that supports coordination between virtual and in-person care

What You'll DoVirtual Gynecology and Reproductive Health Care

Evaluate, counsel, treat, and manage patients through telehealth across areas such as:

  • Contraceptive counseling and management
  • Menopause and perimenopause assessment and follow-up
  • PCOS
  • Fibroids
  • Abnormal uterine bleeding
  • Endometriosis
  • Fertility assessment and follow-up
  • Pregnancy confirmation and pregnancy-options counseling
  • Sexual wellness and sexual health concerns
  • STI consultation and treatment
  • Genital sores and other genital concerns
  • Vaginal, vulvar, and urinary symptoms
  • Menstrual cramps and pelvic pain
  • Gynecology follow-up care
  • Cervical cancer screening follow-up and results counseling, when appropriate for virtual management
Whole-Person Care

Recognize and address related medical, behavioral health, and preventive care needs within your scope, while coordinating with Tia's primary care, mental health, and in-person clinical teams when additional evaluation or treatment is needed.

Virtual Care Navigation

Determine when a concern can be safely managed through telehealth and when a patient requires an in-person examination, laboratory testing, imaging, specimen collection, a procedure, or specialty referral.

Quality and Advocacy

Deliver inclusive, trauma-informed, evidence-based care that helps patients feel heard, informed, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.

Collaboration

Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, mental health clinicians, care coordinators, and in-person clinic teams to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Clinical Innovation

Contribute to the development of virtual care pathways, clinical protocols, decision-support tools, and innovative practice standards.

Data and Technology

Use technology and data to support evidence-based clinical decision-making, documentation, quality improvement, and efficient virtual workflows.

What You'll Bring

Credentials: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, NCC, or NCCPA. Active California license and DEA registration required.

Clinical Experience: At least two years of independent outpatient clinical experience following completion of training.

Gynecology Expertise: Demonstrated experience independently evaluating and managing a broad range of gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health concerns.

Relevant Background: We are particularly interested in candidates who have one of the following backgrounds:

  • Core experience in gynecology, women's health, reproductive health, or sexual health; or
  • Broad outpatient experience across both gynecology and primary care, with substantial gynecology-focused clinical responsibility

Virtual Care Judgment: Ability to provide high-quality telehealth care and identify when symptoms or conditions require an in-person examination, testing, imaging, a procedure, or a higher level of care.

Patient-Centered Care: Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care.

Operational Mindset: Data-driven, adaptable, and comfortable partnering with Operations to balance clinical quality, access, patient experience, and workflow efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Women's Health Nurse Practitioner certification or another advanced women's health-focused background
  • Experience managing menopause and perimenopause
  • Experience in contraception, reproductive health, abnormal bleeding, PCOS, fertility evaluation, or sexual medicine
  • Prior telehealth experience
  • Experience working within an integrated or multidisciplinary care model
Training and Development

Training may be provided in selected areas of Tia's care model based on the provider's prior experience. However, candidates must join with a strong existing foundation in outpatient gynecology and women's health.

Additional training may include:

  • Tia's virtual care pathways and escalation standards
  • Menopause and perimenopause care
  • Sexual wellness
  • Weight management
  • Medical dermatology
  • Tia's documentation, technology, and care coordination workflows

Work Location

This is a fully remote clinical role. Providers will deliver care virtually and collaborate with clinical and operational teams across Tia's markets.

Because this is a telehealth position, providers must be comfortable determining which concerns are appropriate for virtual care and coordinating timely in-person follow-up when a physical examination, diagnostic testing, imaging, specimen collection, or procedure is clinically indicated.

Compensation and Benefits

Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. Compensation for this role will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, location, role level, business needs, and market conditions.

The expected base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $135,000, depending on level and experience.

You are also eligible for:

  • Quarterly performance bonus with a 10% target
  • Equity grants
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Malpractice coverage
  • Paid time off, sick leave, and holidays
  • CME stipend and licensing reimbursement
  • Access to clinical tools and ongoing training resources

About Tia

Tia is on a mission to transform healthcare for women by increasing access, improving outcomes, and delivering a better care experience. Our "Whole Woman, Whole Life" model integrates primary care, gynecology, mental health, dermatology, and wellness across in-person care and a national virtual platform.

Tia is an equal opportunity employer. We believe diversity of experience, perspectives, and background leads to a better environment for our employees and a better product for our users and patients. We strongly encourage people of color and members of the LGBTQ+ community to apply.

If you are committed to collaborative problem solving, high-quality work, and making waves in women's healthcare, we'd love to hear from you.
