In your role as an LICSW, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting the mental health of students. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify individual mental health needs and establishing personalized treatment plans, informed by the best available practices.
• Providing therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques that cater to the diverse needs of your clients.
• Maintaining accurate, thorough clinical records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and other relevant regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborating closely with educators, school psychologists, and other mental health professionals to create an integrated support network for students.
• Participating in collaborative case evaluations and peer supervision meetings to continuously improve treatment methodologies and enhance service delivery.
• Educating students and their families about mental health challenges, available resources, and coping strategies to foster resilience.
• Staying informed on ongoing developments and research in the mental health field to incorporate the latest evidence-based strategies into your practice.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of students from various backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in delivering psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
• Proficient in implementing solution-focused interventions and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A track record of effective teamwork and collaboration within a clinical or educational setting.

• Experience in a school-based or educational setting, working with a pediatric population.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual therapy platforms.
• Knowledge of community resources available to support children and families.
