Job description

Meta is seeking an Operations Program Manager to drive build-to-order supply chain operations from early development through mass production. In this role, you will serve as the primary supply chain operations interface across cross-functional teams including R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance, as well as external contract manufacturers. You will own the program execution for complex consumer hardware products, ensuring seamless execution of high-priority initiatives that directly influence the success of innovative products in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Responsibilities
Own build-to-order supply chain operations of hardware programs, driving development through mass production and sustaining operations
• Define and manage the build-to-order engagement model between internal cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners (FATP/JDM/ODM/CM environments), clarifying roles, responsibilities, and deliverables at each program phase
• Drive supplier readiness activities, including manufacturing line design, process qualification planning, capacity modeling, and capital expenditure planning, ahead of development builds and ramp
• Assess, consolidate, and communicate program risk and status clearly and succinctly to XFN and leadership, calling out key issues and presenting options for resolution at cross-functional reviews and executive forums
• Liaise across cross-functional teams to ensure product cost, manufacturability, reliability, product quality, and safety and compliance performance goals are met
• Identify early risks and constraints (supplier capability, process maturity, capacity, cost), and drive mitigation plans and decisions
• Drive strategic initiatives that improve how NPIs are executed, including standardization, operating cadence, readiness criteria, and lessons-learned reuse
• Contribute to team-level goals by developing scalable playbooks and mechanisms that reduce duplicated work and improve program execution efficiency across the hardware portfolio
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations discipline or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in an operations-focused program management role for consumer electronics devices
• Experience driving new product introduction programs from development builds through mass production ramp, including process qualification and capacity planning
• Experience working with and managing external suppliers and manufacturers in FATP/JDM/ODM/CM environments
• Experience using data analysis and systematic problem-solving approaches to resolve multi-dimensional manufacturing or operations challenges
• Experience communicating program status, risk, and technical tradeoffs to both engineering teams and executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications
• 12+ years of experience in an operations-focused program management role for consumer electronics devices
• Experience leading development and delivery of high-volume products through postponement, mass customization, personalization, or build-to-order models
• Experience with mechanical or electromechanical hardware technologies and the manufacturing processes used to scale them into production
• Master's degree (e.g., MBA, Engineering, or other relevant field) with experience in management consulting, strategy, business operations, or similar discipline
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
