Metro Psychotherapy is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time capacity. Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility while maintaining the structure of traditional office hours which are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Our outpatient facility serves clients from diverse backgrounds, allowing the counselor to engage in meaningful virtual therapeutic relationships while integrating personal creativity and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to diagnose clients accurately, develop personalized treatment plans, and document ongoing progress in accordance with company policies.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by optimizing the client experience and actively engaging with them through various therapeutic modalities tailored to their individual needs.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of professionals, including case managers and medical staff, to coordinate care that addresses various facets of the clients' lives.
  • Utilize creativity and innovative approaches in therapy sessions to help clients set, pursue, and achieve their emotional and psychological goals.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed session documentation, including progress notes and treatment reviews, ensuring timely submission as part of our compliance standards.
  • Participate in clinical staff meetings and training sessions, contributing to ongoing team development and service delivery improvements.
  • Engage in additional responsibilities that enhance the therapeutic environment, reflecting the dynamic and integral nature of this role.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a wide range of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relational issues, and more complex disorders. This role requires sensitivity and awareness to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering an inclusive environment. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution is mandatory.
  • Active clinical licensure (LPC) in the state of Oregon is required for this position.
