Key Qualifications:
- Active or eligible SLPA certification in Washington State
- Understanding of a variety of speech and language disorders commonly seen in school-age populations
- Ability to implement therapy activities as directed by a supervising SLP
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Previous school-based experience or pediatric background is highly valued
- Flexibility and adaptability to support diverse caseloads
- Familiarity with digital documentation and progress tracking
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an on-site or virtual SLP
- Assist in developing and adapting therapy materials aligned with IEP goals
- Document student progress and report findings to the supervising SLP
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and school policies
