Job description

The Project Analyst/Product owner is responsible for analyzing requirements and execution plans to guide product strategy, identify interdependencies and efficiences, track and direct multiple teams product scope in alignment with schedule, and assist Program Management to oversee execution through completion. This role blends customer-centric product ownership with structured project analysis to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery that meets business goals. Responsibilities * Conducts research and analysis to support product strategy, user needs, and feature development.
* Assists in defining product requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.
* Helps identify interdependencies and contributes ideas that improve workflow efficiency and product value delivery.
* Communicates product goals, priorities, and sprint progress clearly to team members and stakeholders.
* Supports ongoing management of the product backlog by creating, refining, and prioritizing teamwork.
* Participates in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to help ensure alignment and clarity.
* Monitors progress of product work and assists in updating reports, metrics, and insights for leadership.
* Maintains a solid understanding of courseware development concepts and applies this knowledge to support product decisions.
* Collaborates with cross-functional partners as needed (art team, game developers, SMEs, QA, scheduling) to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables meet expectations.
* Reviews completed work for alignment with acceptance criteria and readiness for sprint reviews or release.
* Gathers and evaluates user feedback and product performance data to help identify opportunities for improvement.
* Ensures documentation, requirements, and user stories remain accurate, organized, and accessible throughout the product lifecycle.
* Applies Agile Product Ownership practices and seeks opportunities to learn, improve, and contribute to team effectiveness.
* Coordinates with EVMS and scheduling team for collaboration and efficiency in schedule management. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years' experience.
* Understanding of Agile principals, values, and methodologies.
* Familiarity with the Scrum framework and how it is applied in day-to-day team practices.
* Experience supporting planning, execution decisions, and work tracking within an Agile environment.
* Strong Communication, prioritization, and time-management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple initiatives, analyze them, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* May require the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance which requires US citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications: * Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification.
* Experience applying or integrating EVMS requirements within an Agile product workflow.
* Experience supporting or performing 3-D Model/Art and/or Game Design/Virtual Technical content for lesson development for a training program.
