Job Summary

The position will be responsible for safety training, safety shop and jobsite audits, contractor meetings, and day to day oversight of construction safety operations. Responsible for safety for all manufacturing shops and construction in Lawrence and surrounding areas. 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health is preferred. 
  • Experience: Must have at least 5 years of full-time work experience in a safety role in general industry.
  • OHST (Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician) Certification is preferred.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check.  Must be able to meet P1 qualifications to operate a vehicle on company business. Must be at least 18 years of age.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.  Must have access to drive a well maintained vehicle.  Must have up to date registration with the local Department of Motor Vehicles.  Both the candidate and the vehicle must be currently covered on a personal insurance policy.
