About the Role

KanPak® is seeking an energetic and dependable Warehouse Associate/Forklift Driver to join our team in Arkansas City, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, selecting, storing, and loading products and materials while safely operating material handling equipment. You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring products are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining KanPak’s quality and productivity standards.

What You'll Do
  • Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Receive, store, move, and load products and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Pick, lift, carry, and palletize products to build accurate customer orders.
  • Move products into trailers and storage locations.
  • Visually inspect incoming and outgoing products to ensure quality and shipment accuracy.
  • Read labels, packaging information, and shipping documents.
  • Count and calculate product quantities to verify order accuracy.
  • Consistently meet company safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using approved cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of warehouse experience or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Specialized forklift training with 6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience required.
  • Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move products throughout the shift.
  • Basic reading, math, and counting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to visually inspect products for quality and shipment accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The Schedule & Setting
  • Location: Arkansas City, KS
  • Shift: 2nd Shift
  • Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Environment: Warehouse and distribution setting with varying temperature conditions.
  • KanPak® operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and flexibility to work overtime and weekends is required based on business needs.
