Job description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis night shift position requiring at least 1 year of recent dialysis experience and an active AL or compact RN license.
Job Details
โ€ข Dialysis unit located across two campus locations with eight bays at one site and four bays at the other,
โ€ข Performs bedside and peritoneal dialysis treatments for patients within the organization,
โ€ข RN:patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:3 when paired with a CCHT,
โ€ข Uses Fresenius dialysis machines, with Gambro machines used as needed,
โ€ข Training provided for candidates unfamiliar with Fresenius or Gambro equipment,
โ€ข Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,
โ€ข Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals within the system,
โ€ข Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week,
โ€ข Every other weekend required,
โ€ข Holiday coverage required as needed,
โ€ข On-call responsibilities required at one of the two campus locations,
Job Requirements
โ€ข Active RN license (Alabama State or Compact) required, no temporary licenses accepted,
โ€ข BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required,
โ€ข Associate degree in nursing required,
โ€ข Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including at least 1 recent year in dialysis,
โ€ข Professional Nursing Certification preferred,
โ€ข Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English,
โ€ข NURSYS license verification required,
โ€ข No history of license actions, past or current, allowed,
