• Conduct comprehensive crisis assessments and interventions for clients experiencing urgent mental health emergencies.
• Provide immediate counseling and support to individuals in distress, deploying crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies effectively.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with law enforcement and emergency response personnel to ensure client safety in critical situations.
• Develop personalized crisis intervention plans and conduct ongoing follow-up after initial assessments to ensure clients receive the necessary resources and support.
• Utilize learning and development opportunities to enhance crisis counseling expertise, staying updated on the latest methodologies and interventions.

You will primarily engage with individuals battling substance misuse, emotional crises, and trauma-related challenges. Our clients range from teenagers to adults, each requiring tailored interventions to support their unique needs. Your empathetic approach and cultural sensitivity will be vital in establishing rapport and trust, essential for facilitating effective healing.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid License as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Minimum of three years of recent experience in crisis intervention, mental health counseling, or behavioral health settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based crisis intervention techniques and a comprehensive understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health counseling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with diverse clients in a remote setting.

The compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience, with the opportunity for salary adjustments based on advancements in skills and contributions.
