Gateway Regional Medical Center is looking for a PRN Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team on nights. This is a great option for a nurse who wants flexibility without sacrificing meaningful, hands-on patient care - or who's looking to supplement a current role with additional shifts on a supportive, collaborative unit.
What You'll Do
  • Deliver patient care through the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Coordinate nursing care in line with established clinical best practices
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
  • Step confidently into a fast-paced Med/Surg environment on an as-needed basis
What You Bring
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Illinois RN license
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross); ACLS preferred
  • Willingness to complete Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training within 1 month of hire
  • Clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
