Job description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Step Down
Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Duration: 13 weeks
Certifications Required: AHA BLS, AHA NIHSS
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide stepdown care with a focus on Medical-Surgical patients, including trauma, neuro, ENT, vascular, and general surgery.
  • Manage post-surgical patients including urology, plastic surgery, and bariatric care.
  • Handle patients with arterial lines and monitor critical changes.
  • Expected to float to other units as needed.
  • Work every other weekend and holiday.
Requirements:
  • BLS and NIHSS certifications.
