Job Summary and Qualifications

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus with a 2 year commitment to Mission Health. Ask Recruiter for more details. 

Shift: This is a part time position 5:30am-3:00pm

As a Pre Post Surgery Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include managing airway support, closely monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to any complications or side effects. You will provide initial wound care to the patients’ surgical site and ensure patient stability during recovery. You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team. This role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours which will be discussed in the interview.

What qualifications you will need: . 

  • Required Experience: One year of RN experience
  • Preferred Experience: PreOp/PACU experience and or strong hospital nursing experience
  • Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
  • Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON.
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIH
  • Preferred Certifications: National Certification in area of specialty
