Overview
Registered Nurse โ€“ Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Helena, MT. This travel temporary assignment begins on 08/16/2026 for approximately 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week, with a 12-hour rotating day/night shift. Weekly pay ranges from $2,430 to $2,447 before taxes. Work in a hospital-level obstetric unit on a travel assignment that includes OB/L&D responsibilities and collaborative intra-team care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for labor and delivery patients, including assessment of maternal and fetal status
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; assist with intrapartum procedures and OR-related duties as needed
- Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vitals, respond to abnormalities per policy, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with OB/GYN, anesthesia, neonatal teams, and OR staff; support circulating activities during OB cases
- Document care in the EMR (Epic), ensuring accurate vitals, medications, procedures, and patient progress
- May float to medical-surgical, ICU, or ER units to assist with stable adult overflow or to support high-demand periods
Requirements
- Active Montana registered nursing license or compact license on file at submission
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN fetal heart monitoring required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of obstetrics/L&D or equivalent OB experience
- Education: Graduate of an approved nursing program; current RN licensure
- EMR: Epic experience required
- OB/L&D experience with OR circulator duties; ability to work in a hospital setting
- Within 200 miles of Helena, MT to support travel guidelines
