Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Location: Alexandria, LA

Position Description

Experience Requirement: Candidates must possess CV experience to be considered.

Unit Information
  • Number of Beds: 9 OR suites, 1 GU suite, 3 Women’s OR suites
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Unit Staffing: RNs and ORTs available
  • Types of Equipment: General Surgery, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, GYN, Robotics
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Scheduling Requirements: 36-40 hours/week with call rotation
  • Floating Policy: Will not float
Patient Experience Requirements

Must have ORT experience.

Requested Skill Set
  • Must Have: Basic intraoperative skills
  • Advanced Skills Needed: Robotics
