StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier leader in aerospace and defense technology to secure a high-caliber Field Training and Support Engineer. Operating as the technical anchor for our client’s domestic customer success division, the selected professional will champion next-generation airspace security solutions. This critical, high-impact role directly reinforces national defense and public safety initiatives by driving the deployment of sophisticated protective systems. Serving as the ultimate product authority, you will spearhead comprehensive educational initiatives and deliver sophisticated technical assistance to end-users and integration allies alike.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead dynamic, interactive virtual and in-person educational programs covering full-spectrum system hardware and software capabilities.

  • Architect and refine rigorous technical curricula to align with evolving product features and upcoming system upgrades.

  • Direct external service associates and integration partners, serving as the primary technical point of contact to maintain exemplary field standards.

  • Champion complex counter-drone methodologies, translating critical on-the-ground observations into actionable product enhancements for internal design teams.

  • Resolve escalated Tier-2 technical issues, participating in a rotational coverage schedule to ensure continuous support for mission-critical customer operations.

  • Oversee comprehensive on-site assessments, structural system installations, configuration setups, and physical validation tests within challenging signal environments.

  • Synthesize clear technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and comprehensive reference guides for consumer and partner use.

What You Bring
  • Field Engineering (5-7 years of dedicated experience delivering Technical Training or Professional Services in a hardware-software deployment ecosystem)

  • Counter-Uas (Expert operational familiarity with Radio Frequency systems and specialized safety technologies)

  • Channel Partner Management (Proven capability managing, onboarding, and scaling external service networks or independent field integrators)

  • Faa Part 107 Remote Pilot certification (Strongly Preferred)

  • Engineering or Telecommunications degree (Bachelors level or equivalent technical experience)

  • Domestic Travel (Willingness to travel approximately 50% to 75% of the time to support various deployment locations)

  • On-Site Collaboration (Ability to work directly from the physical office in McLean, Virginia)

  • Operational Readiness (Capability to lift and maneuver deployment hardware up to 50 lbs and participate in a rolling weekend/evening support rotation)

Compensation & Total Rewards
