Telehealth Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide telehealth services specializing in pain management. The NP will conduct virtual patient consultations, perform clinical assessments, develop and manage treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered pain management care in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual patient consultations via telehealth platforms

• Perform comprehensive pain assessments and clinical evaluations

• Develop and manage individualized pain management treatment plans

• Review diagnostic reports, imaging, and patient histories

• Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines

• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional practice standards

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• National NP certification (AANP or ANCC)

• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; pain management experience strongly preferred

• Experience providing care via telehealth platforms preferred

• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and documentation skills

• Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities

• Ability to work independently in a remote clinical environment
