Job description

The Senior Operations Manager will oversee and support the General Managers in executing the day-to-day operations of both company and franchise-owned restaurants within their assigned region. This role is crucial in ensuring that all locations meet the company's quality, service, and profitability standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational success.
This role will report directly to the Vice President of Operations
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure all restaurants in the region adhere to company standards and policies through regular visits and virtual inspections.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze restaurant performance metrics, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to restaurant managers to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all locations comply with health, safety, and labor regulations.
  • Franchise Relations: Support franchisees in achieving their business goals and maintaining brand standards.
  • Beverage Program Oversight: Directly manage and develop our beverage program.

Requirements
Travel Requirements
  • Senior Operations Managers are required to visit each restaurant within their region 3 - 6 times per year, depending on performance, to ensure operational standards are met and to provide support to the restaurant managers.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required and proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a multi-unit role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
  • Experience developing or managing a bar or beverage program is preferred.
