Qualifications:



  • Graduation from an approved school of professional nursingย required.
  • Must have a current Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania andย have nursing experience involving direct patient care within the last two yearsย required.
  • A baccalaureate degree, preferably in nursing, with additional preparation for teaching appropriate to the teaching of practical nursing.
  • A minimum of twoย years ofย experience as a nurse educator is preferred.
  • Experience with simulation-based learning/virtual simulation is preferred.
  • In addition, applicant shall give evidence of maintaining expertiseย in medical surgical, maternal child health and/orย geriatric clinical area.
  • Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Applicants will be responsible for classroom,ย clinical and clinical simulation instruction and supervision of the students enrolled in the practical nursing program.
  • Organizing and coordinating the Skills labs at TCHS Brandywine and TCHS Pickering campuses.
  • Responsibilities may include dayย and evening assignments, inclusive of the summer months.
  • Assists in formulating policies for the selection and promotion of students. ย 
  • Plans, develops and implements diverse teaching strategies aimed at facilitatingย achievement of student learning outcomes and overallย program outcomes.


2026-2027 Professional Salary Schedule:

$62,155ย - $89,730ย - Instructional I
$64,834ย - $93,324 -ย Instructional II
$69,353 - $101,911ย  - Master's degree
$72,740 - $105,924ย - Master's degree plus 15 credits
$74,415 - $107,845ย - Master's degree plus 30 credits



*Placement on the scale is determined by previous similar experience.
*Salary pro-rated based upon .48 FTE equivalency (position will be paid on an hourly basis).
