As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, you will work entirely remotely, allowing you to maintain a flexible work/life balance. • Conduct individual therapy sessions over our telehealth platform, engaging clients in meaningful conversations that foster trust and openness.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, identifying their mental health goals and desired outcomes.
• Regularly assess client progress through detailed evaluations and adapt treatment plans accordingly to optimize therapeutic effectiveness.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records in compliance with legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information.
• Collaborate with fellow team members and other mental health professionals, sharing insights to enhance the overall care provided to clients.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards in your practice, remaining informed of relevant laws and guidelines within the field of mental health therapy.

You will be working with a diverse client base including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your role will be crucial in providing an empathetic listening ear, promoting resilience, and fostering a safe environment for clients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies.

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. Candidates with advanced degrees are highly encouraged to apply.
• Active state licensure as a mental health therapist, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.

• Prior experience in providing individual therapy, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and an understanding of therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in using technology for telehealth services, showcasing comfort with video conferencing tools and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to clients empathetically and build rapport quickly.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
