What is a virtual medical assistant?

A Virtual Medical Assistant is a remote professional who provides administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers via digital communication tools. To overcome these, it's important to establish consistent communication channels, be proactive in scheduling, and stay updated on HIPAA compliance best practices. Leveraging secure telehealth platforms and regularly checking in with team members can also help maintain workflow efficiency and patient care standards.
