ChristianaCare is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our Breast Surgery Department in our Helen F. Graham Center in Newark, DE.
This role is well-suited for an MA who is organized, adaptable, and trusted to work independently, while also collaborating seamlessly with providers and team members to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Duties / Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant II ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, assists providers during virtual and in-person appointments, and acts as a leader and mentor to office staff to promote effective workflow and team collaboration.
Position Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program and hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
  • Two years' experience as a Medical Assistant, is required, three years' is preferred.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.84 - $29.76
This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
