Job description

Materials Handler

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.

Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.

Interview is a phone or virtual call followed by onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely move materials throughout the facility using forklifts and other equipment
  • Issue and receive materials for job orders and inventory
  • Load, unload, pick, pack, and ship customer orders
  • Build crates and pallets as needed for shipments
  • Perform daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate records of materials and shipments
  • Coordinate with freight carriers and support shipping logistics
  • Follow all safety procedures, complete required training, and perform daily equipment checks

Qualifications:

  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations
  • Forklift experience required (crane/rigging experience a plus)
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions
  • Experience with inventory control and storeroom procedures
  • Familiarity with shipping software (e.g., UPS) and freight carriers
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and packaging equipment
