ย Math "Bootcamp" Teacher

Summer 2026

The following position is anticipated for the summer based on student identification for the 7th grade Algebra XL course.ย 

Program Description:

To provide instruction on seventh grade topics/standards to prepare identified students for the Algebra XL course for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This program will ensure that students have all of the necessary skills and understanding important concepts that will prepare them for Algebra I. The course will be taught virtually from July 20, 2026 to August 20, 2026 with asynchronous digital lessons and live online office hours.

Requirements:

  • NJ Teaching Certificate for Mathematics, Middle School with Mathematics Specialization in Grades 5-8, or Highly Qualified in Middle School Mathematics
  • Experience with the 7th grade curriculum preferred
  • Strong technology skills and familiarity with instructional technology tools to effectively provide instruction in a virtual setting

Provisions:ย 

  • Compensation is in accordance with the hourly rates indicated in the OEA CBA.

Rate of Pay:ย 

  • For lesson planning: $51.00 per hour up to 10 hours
  • For live online office hours with students: $58.15 per hour up to 4 hours per week for 5 weeks
  • Not to exceed $1700
