The Role
Fabricates and installs a variety of sheet metal such as ductwork, venting systems, main engine exhaust, metal containers and instrumentation panels. Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, and other specifications, using shop mathematics.

What You'll Do
• Fabricate and install a wide range of sheet metal components, including:
- Ductwork
- Ventilation systems
- Main engine exhaust assemblies
- Metal containers and housings
- Instrumentation panels
• Plan, lay out, and execute work using shop math, blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Use cutting, forming, and fastening tools to achieve precise, high‑quality installations.
• Work in an active shipyard environment that may involve varying conditions, heights, and confined spaces.
• Maintain safety practices that meet - and often exceed - industry standards.
