Job description

About the role:
The Loss Prevention Analyst is the direct liaison to the client responsible for receiving, processing, reviewing, analyzing, and closing all incoming requests from the clients' Loss Prevention program and external agencies. The ideal candidate must have great interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The Loss Prevention Analyst reports directly to the Retail Operations Manager.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
  • Learn Athena Case Management (ACM) and review leads, confirming or refuting via CCTV footage.
  • Establish BOX folders for confirmed and refuted events, including videos and observations, for RSBP's review.
  • Partner with the Fraud Manager for feedback on the ACM tool and future enhancements.
  • Utilize Business Object reports to monitor destructive behaviors in high-risk stores, confirming through CCTV footage.
  • Maintain a rolling list of store CCTV systems, documenting issues and preserving significant crime images and footage.
  • Capture and store suspicious activity identified in Carrier Fraud Leads in designated BOX folders for review.
  • Review incident reports for similar activity, confirming via CCTV, and document in relevant BOX folders for further collaboration with the Fraud Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

As a candidate, you must have:
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in Business Administration preferred
  • 3-5 years in Loss Prevention, Global Security Operations Center, or Law Enforcement
  • Proficiency in PC and iOS hardware and software, including word processing, data analysis, presentation software, and spreadsheet applications
  • Maintain state guard certification as required by state law and client requests; the employee is responsible for all documentation and fees unless specified otherwise
  • Dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm, capable of delivering high-quality customer service
  • Flexibility to work any shift, any day of the week (Monday-Sunday), and willingness to assist with additional shifts as needed
  • Domestic travel, up to 5% of the time
