Job description

At Inductive Bio, we're helping drug hunters find better medicines, faster, through our virtual lab and AI-enabled synthesis and testing approach. Chemists have historically relied on slow, resource-intensive design-make-test-analyze (DMTA) cycles to find molecules that are effective, safe, and viable in the human body. We're changing that with our state-of-the-art AI platform that makes every DMTA cycle as efficient and impactful as possible.
Our ADMET/PK models have placed first in the world's largest AI drug discovery competition for ADMET benchmarks two years running. Most recently, outperforming 370+ submissions, including Merck + NVIDIA, and EMD Serono. We are backed by leading investors at the intersection of technology and biotechnology, and our team includes world-class technology and drug discovery experts. We've partnered with dozens of biopharma companies to expedite their highest priority drug programs. To meet the rapidly growing demand, we need to expand our go-to-market team with high performing individuals.
We are seeking a Partnerships Lead to drive adoption of our platform, shape tailored solutions for our customers, and own the full sales cycle. You'll play a key role in expanding our commercial footprint while helping refine our go-to-market strategy.
What you'll do:
  • Own the full-cycle sales for Inductive's virtual lab software and AI-enabled discovery services offerings, delivering revenue and a consultative buyer experience from outreach to close
  • Build and manage a pipeline through networking, targeted outbound efforts, and participation in industry events and conferences
  • Earn the trust of scientific buyers and decision makers (spanning C-suite to medicinal and computational chemists) by engaging as a credible peer
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to craft tailored solutions that meet customer needs and reinforce our scientific and technical credibility externally
  • Effectively manage and grow key accounts, driving renewals and expansion opportunities
  • Contribute to building and evolving the sales playbook, tools, and collateral - continually iterating to improve customer experience and business outcomes
  • Represent Inductive externally at key conferences, events, and customer meetings

Who you are:
  • 5+ years of life sciences B2B sales experience, with demonstrated success selling into scientific and technical buyer personas
  • Deep understanding of the drug discovery processes - you can appreciate and speak to the challenges associated with small molecule discovery programs
  • PhD or MS in chemistry, or a related field, with industry experience working with medicinal or computational chemist
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex scientific and technical concepts to a range of stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable - ability to thrive in a start-up environment with a track record of navigating ambiguity
  • High critical thinking bar: you ask hard questions, distinguish signal from noise, and push back constructively when you disagree
  • Skilled in deal execution, including negotiation, objection handling, and closing
  • Customer-first, high-integrity operator with a strong sense of ownership

Working at Inductive
At Inductive Bio, we know that the people on the team are what make us great. We offer competitive salary and equity-based compensation; comprehensive healthcare benefits (including dental and vision); and the opportunity to grow along with a rapidly scaling company. We are a passionate, kind, and mature team. Working at a fast growing startup is not always a 9-5 job, but we believe that our employees should have full lives beyond their career.
