Job Summary

The Pricing and Market Analytics Intern supports the product marketing team by assisting with data analysis, pricing research, and market intelligence initiatives. This role is intended for students or recent graduates who are seeking hands-on experience in analytics, pricing strategy, and business decision-making. The intern will work under the guidance of senior team members while building foundational analytical and professional skills. We work a hybrid schedule. The Intern must be available to work onsite in our Lake Forest office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. We work remote Mondays and Fridays.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Data Analytics
  • Assist with collecting, cleaning, and organizing pricing and sales data.
  • Support basic pricing models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Help evaluate promotional effectiveness using basic ROI and trend analysis.
  • Prepare charts and summaries for internal presentations.
  • Market Insight & Intelligence
  • Research competitive products, pricing, and market trends.
  • Assist in summarizing customer and market insights for the team.
  • Support simple surveys or analyses related to customer willingness-to-pay.
  •  Process and Tool Implementation
  • Help maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytics files.
  • Learn and assist with pricing and analytics tools as assigned.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, finance, and product teams on active projects.
  • Participate in meetings and share basic findings when appropriate.

                               

Education and Experience Profile

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science or a related field.
  • Relevant coursework, academic projects, or prior internship experience is a plus but not required.
  • Basic familiarity with Excel and data analysis concepts preferred.

Required Skills

  • Strong interest in data analysis, pricing, and business strategy.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python is a plus.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow guidance from experienced team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical curiosity.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive, proactive attitude.

Work Environment:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
