Position Overview

The Beacon Institute for Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our rapidly expanding team. This full-time remote position will allow you to provide vital mental health services to diverse communities throughout California. You will play a critical role in offering therapy and support to individuals facing various mental health challenges, enriching their lives and contributing to their overall well-being.

This position is 100% remote, enabling you to work from anywhere in California. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team of mental health professionals, including therapists and psychiatrists, who prioritize shared goals, respect, and mutual support. Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual LCSW at The Beacon Institute, your daily tasks will encompass a variety of therapeutic and administrative functions:

  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, thereby ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Perform thorough intake assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to facilitate effective treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions in our electronic health record (EHR) system, which plays a crucial role in the continuity of care.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to stay current with best practices and foster team cohesion.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic approaches to client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients encompass a wide spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, presenting challenges that include depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
