Sarasota Memorial Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team in a remote, full-time capacity. This role involves providing virtual therapy services to a diverse population of adult clients, making a significant impact on their mental health journey. As a licensed clinician in this position, you will be responsible for managing a minimum caseload of 25 clients while ensuring high-quality care and compliance with relevant best practices in social work.

This position operates entirely in a virtual format, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. Clinicians will engage in remote therapy sessions with clients, utilizing technology platforms that facilitate secure and effective communication. Our administrative team handles essential functions such as new client marketing, insurance verification, credentialing, and billing, enabling you to concentrate fully on client care. We value flexibility; you will have the autonomy to create your own schedule within a Monday to Friday structure, with potential weekend availability as necessary.

• Provide high-quality virtual therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with colleagues to discuss challenging cases and share best practices for client engagement and treatment.
• Participate in regular meetings with administrative staff to review and optimize client intake processes and adjust marketing strategies based on trends.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with emerging practices in social work and mental health counseling.

The primary focus of this role is to serve adult clients who may be experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Our practice is particularly committed to inclusivity, providing services to individuals from minority and diverse backgrounds as well as the LGBTQIA+ community. Clinicians will be expected to demonstrate cultural competence in their therapeutic approaches and work collaboratively to address the unique needs of each client.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Currently possesses an active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.
• Proficiency in delivering therapy to adults, notably those aged 18 and over.
• Must hold professional malpractice insurance.

• Experience with CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy methodologies.
• Background in supporting the mental health of the LGBTQIA+ community and men's mental health preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with working in diverse environments and experience with multicultural client interactions.
