Frontier Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team in a remote, full-time capacity. This role is perfect for a licensed professional to provide high-quality virtual therapy and support to a diverse adult client population. As part of our expanding practice, the successful candidate will manage a minimum caseload of 25 clients, ensuring that individuals receive the mental health care they need from the comfort of their homes.

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand each client's unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans that promote mental wellness.
• Provide individual therapy sessions via a secure virtual platform, utilizing evidence-based practices to address various mental health issues.
• Engage in ongoing documentation and management of client records within our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in regular professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and enhance therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with the administrative team on client onboarding, insurance verification, and billing processes, ensuring a seamless client experience.

The clients we serve primarily include adults aged 18 and older who seek support for a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We also have a keen focus on serving the LGBTQIA+ community and those from diverse backgrounds. Your experience in treating clients from these populations will significantly contribute to their therapeutic journey and outcomes.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active LICSW license to practice in Massachusetts.
• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience, especially in adult psychotherapy.
• Strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Psychodynamic Therapy methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients from LGBTQIA+ backgrounds and understanding of men's mental health issues is desirable.
• Must hold professional malpractice insurance as a requirement for practice.
• Experience working with minority populations and a commitment to cultural competency in therapy.

• Experience specifically within virtual therapy settings is preferred.
• Proficiency in using telehealth tools and platforms for effective client interaction.
• Previous involvement in community mental health advocacy or programming.
