Instructional Designer
Location: Fort Worth, Texas | Hybrid
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
* $40/hr + BOE
* Full-time hours
* W2 Temp to Hire
* Start date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
This role exists to strengthen leadership capability across the organization by building structured, scalable learning programs from the ground up. The Instructional Designer will create high-impact learning experiences that support new, emerging, and tenured leaders. Success is defined by measurable learner engagement, program adoption, and alignment of leadership development initiatives with business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conduct needs assessments to identify performance gaps and leadership development opportunities
* Design and develop end-to-end learning programs, including instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), eLearning, and blended learning solutions
* Create engaging training materials such as presentations (PowerPoint), facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and supporting documentation
* Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to align learning content with strategic goals
* Enhance and modernize existing training programs to improve effectiveness and learner experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of instructional design experience
* Proven experience designing comprehensive learning programs from analysis through implementation (not limited to standalone course development)
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and experience working within a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Workday
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
* Microsoft PowerPoint
* Learning Management Systems (LMS), including Workday
* eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate (Storyline or Rise)
* Virtual training and hybrid delivery platforms
Preferred Skills
* Experience designing leadership development programs
* Background in healthcare or similarly structured, compliance-driven environments
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and ability to work independently in a fast-evolving environment
