Our client is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to deliver comprehensive hands-on training programs for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Development Teams. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering customized learning experiences that drive organizational transformation and build Agile capability across the enterprise. You will facilitate both role-specific certifications and cross-functional team workshops, ensuring participants not only understand Agile principles but can apply them effectively in their organizational context. This is a strategic training role that combines instructional design, facilitation excellence, and deep Agile expertise. You will work closely with organizational leadership, development teams, and coaching professionals to align training initiatives with business transformation goals and organizational culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver role-based training programs tailored to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Development Teams with emphasis on hands-on exercises, real-world scenarios, and case studies.
  • Facilitate high-impact in-person and virtual training workshops with 15-40 participants, delivering engaging, interactive sessions that promote active learning and knowledge retention.
  • Lead cross-functional team training programs focused on establishing high-performing Agile teams, improving collaboration, and strengthening team dynamics.
  • Adapt training content and delivery methods based on audience expertise level, organizational context, and specific business challenges.
  • Deliver training through multiple formats including multi-day intensive workshops, half-day sessions, virtual instructor-led training, and blended learning experiences.
  • Manage training logistics including participant registration, materials distribution, facility coordination, and post-training follow-up.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to help individuals apply Agile principles within their organizational context.
  • Partner with participants post-training to address implementation challenges and reinforce learning through practical application.
  • Assess participant learning through pre/post training assessments, practical demonstrations, and certification examinations.
  • Evaluate effectiveness through satisfaction surveys, skill assessments, knowledge retention testing, and 90-day behavioral change tracking.
  • Gather feedback to continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and outcomes.
  • Report on training program metrics and ROI to leadership and training management.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, Lean, and emerging practices.
  • Pursue professional development and stay current with training innovations and adult learning principles.
  • Maintain and renew professional certifications such as CSM, CSPO, PSM, PSPO, and SAFe Program Consultant credentials.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base through documentation of case studies, lessons learned, and training innovations.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and Agile transformations as a delivery team member, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile coach.
  • 2-3 years of professional training delivery and facilitation experience with diverse audiences; experience with 20+ person workshops preferred.
  • Current professional certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) from Scrum.org.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering training to technical and non-technical audiences in corporate environments.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and inspire participants across organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong listening and coaching abilities.
  • Experience developing training materials and curriculum design including course outlines, learning objectives, assessments, and participant guides.
