Job description

Aquatics Manager Position

The Aquatics Manager position with British Swim School is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, instructor team management, initial and ongoing training, customer conversations as well as teaching lessons when and if necessary. This position will also require due diligence with tracking required certifications for instructors as well as continuing the employee's development and competency and skills.

Benefits include competitive salary, training and development, free uniforms, pay starting at $20-24 based on experience with possible opportunities for bonuses, paid training which includes required travel for 4 or 5 days once hired, paid uniforms, birthday off and paid!

Schedule and hours include 4 hour shift weekdays (evenings) and/or weekends (morning/afternoon), year round work, and the ability to commit to at least 20 hours per week.

Your typical responsibilities include onboarding and managing employees to maintain a smooth execution of daily aquatics and service operations, creation of employee schedules and pool lesson schedules, addressing and documenting employee, customer, and pool incidents that occur, virtual/zoom onboard training, in person aquatics training (paid), instructing swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School training and program standards, maintaining certifications throughout employment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Preferred qualifications include experience in swimming and fitness teaching/management, lifeguard, CPR, first aid certifications, and safe sport certification.
