Description

The Regional Reimbursement Manager is responsible for the execution of the reimbursement strategy with the goal of ensuring optimal access with specific products in partnership with our client. This role is responsible for leading and managing activities of Virtual Reimbursement Managers within a regional footprint. The Regional Reimbursement Manager will be responsible for leading the team towards the achievement of established client goals, meet regional metrics/service level requirements, and ensuring all goals are met compliantly and in a fiscally responsible manner. The Regional Reimbursement Manager will participate in select client, national, regional, and local strategic meetings, as well as lead meetings with their respective team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Hire, motivate and coach virtual reimbursement team to meet goals and objectives through influencing compliant behavior.
  • Lead virtual reimbursement team to ensure goals are met to support product access within targeted accounts.
  • Work with Virtual Reimbursement Managers on a consistent basis, evaluating coaching and directing local business plans/presentations.
  • Attract, coach and retain individuals who will ensure high level performance
  • Develop plans that effectively translate regional/national strategy.
  • Work with Leadership to define and establish appropriate behaviors and actions that will lead to high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA Degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Reimbursement.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Experience working with a patient call center.
  • Proven experience with payor access and coverage issues; in-depth knowledge of issues related to prior authorization process; experienced in educating on patient access support services across specialty and primary care.
  • Understanding of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans especially within the assigned geographic area.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $155,000 to $165,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
