About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and creative Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of a wide variety of external events. This role requires a strong ability to manage complex logistics, build relationships with vendors and stakeholders, and deliver exceptional experiences that align with organizational goals.
The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker with excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination
  • Build and maintain vendor and venue relationships
  • Plan event logistics including layouts, seating, dining, and guest lists
  • Manage event budgets and day-of execution
  • Anticipate risks and create contingency plans
  • Develop annual event strategy and create high-profile external events
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, equipment, and post-event cleanup
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and report insights
  • Support internal events as needed

Marketing Management
  • Coordinate external marketing efforts with leadership
  • Manage marketing contracts and ensure deliverables are fulfilled
  • Oversee digital channels (website, social, email, SEO, paid media)
  • Write and produce TV, radio, and web commercials
  • Create and distribute marketing materials
  • Manage relationships with outside marketing firms
  • Track and claim MDF and Co-Op funds
  • Analyze campaign performance and ROI

Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications OR 8 years of relevant experience in information technology. (one year of education equals two years of experience).
โ€ข 3-5 years of event planning/management experience
o Success in planning and executing both in-person and virtual events.
o ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
o Must have strong budgeting and negotiation skills
