Job description

Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for an ESL Instructor position in Forest, MS! The Accounts Payable Imaging and Entry department at Shared Services manages the imaging, distribution, and entry of vendor invoices, in preparation for vendor payment. The Accounts Payable Coordinator (Entry) is primarily responsible for entering vendor invoices, identifying payment terms, and matching invoices to purchase orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 6–15 instructional hours per week in the facility (not online) teaching assigned ESL/ESP classes for frontline team members

  •  Receive 15 minutes of paid planning time for every 1 hour of instructional time

  •  Develop course materials and support community building before testing

  •  Attend monthly program check-ins, quarterly virtual faculty meetings, required trainings, registration events, and graduation ceremonies

  •  Maintain the live attendance tracker daily, including student first/last name, Tyson personnel number, and arrival/departure times

  •  Administer the Upward Academy oral speaking pretest by the end of week 3 and posttest by the end of week 13; enter results in the Oral Assessment Report

  •  Prepare completion/participation certificates and update graduation status in the attendance tracker

  •  Communicate absences/tardies to plant partners and the Corporate Upward Academy team; provide at least 3 hours’ notice for unplanned events

Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in English, education, or related field

  • TESOL certificate

  • 3+ years of adult ESL teaching experience

  • Strong classroom management, organization, planning, technology, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in a second language and ESP experience

  • Knowledge of ESL teaching strategies and methods, including grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking

  • Demonstrated English fluency and strong written/oral communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accurate live data entry

  • Ability to support social-emotional needs, belonging, retention, and cross-cultural learning

  • Ability to complete required oral-assessment onboarding/norming and program training

  • Report to the facility Security Office on arrival and follow all plant policies

  • Wear closed-toe shoes with no open heel; plant-specific requirements may also apply
