We are hiring certified teachers to teach virtual small-group intervention sessions. Teachers receive training on effective, proven intervention programs, are compensated for training and prep time, and join a community of serious educators, researchers, and advocates committed to changing outcomes for historically underserved children.
This role is a flexible part-time W2 position. We welcome military spouse applicants - more than half our teachers are military spouses today.
The Role
We are hiring teachers to teach virtual small-group sessions mostly during school hours, with some after school classes as well. You will teach groups of 3-4 students, using effective programs specially adapted for virtual instruction.
You will develop caring relationships with the children you teach, helping them grow and succeed as readers. You will provide weekly updates to school and home stakeholders, building a community of care around each child.
You will be part of a community of like-minded teachers who care deeply about every child's success. 
Schedule
We are currently hiring for the following teaching schedules:
2026-2027 School Year: Classes beginning as early as September and as late as November. Classes are 45 minutes per day, three days a week, after school in the Pacific time zone. We are looking for teachers who are available 2:30pm-4:30pm PT. With room for growth.
