Job Description / Role and Responsibilities

Join an industry-leading architecture and engineering firm to design next-generation power systems for heavy industrial and manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will develop comprehensive electrical equipment layouts, power distribution systems, and lighting networks within fully integrated 3D virtual environments. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of electrical engineers, designers, and drafters to deliver technically precise building information modeling (BIM) solutions for complex infrastructure projects.

  • Develop comprehensive 2D and 3D electrical equipment, lighting, and cable tray layout drawings for heavy industrial facilities.
  • Coordinate essential electrical engineering deliverables, including schematics, grounding systems, interconnect drawings, and single-line diagrams.
  • Utilize advanced BIM protocols and modeling standards to maintain precise technical accuracy across large-scale facility designs.
  • Evaluate industrial power distribution systems and assist engineering teams in building complete construction and installation packages.
  • Apply a foundational understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) to ensure all layouts and technical specifications meet rigorous industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional, multidisciplinary project teams to streamline deliverables and ensure seamless project integration.
