Job description

The VDC Technologist โ€“ Autodesk Forma (formerly ACC) SME Design plays a crucial role in leveraging Autodesk Forma tools to enhance virtual design and construction processes. This position focuses on utilizing subject matter expertise to streamline workflows, improve design coordination, and support the integration of visual and data-rich project information throughout the project lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Autodesk Forma (ACC) expert to guide design teams and project stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement virtual design and construction workflows using Autodesk Forma tools.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design coordination and clash detection.
  • Customize and optimize Autodesk Forma configurations to meet project-specific needs.
  • Provide training and technical support on Autodesk Forma applications to team members.
  • Integrate project data and 3D models into cohesive presentations and reports.
  • Help maintain BIM standards and ensure data integrity throughout project phases.
  • Stay current with the latest Autodesk Forma updates and industry VDC best practices.
