To thrive as a Virtual Designer, you need a solid understanding of design principles, 3D modeling, and digital visualization, often supported by a degree in design, architecture, or a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, Blender, or Adobe Creative Suite is typically required. Strong creativity, attention to detail, and effective communication skills help Virtual Designers translate ideas into immersive digital experiences and collaborate with clients or teams. These skills are crucial for delivering visually compelling, accurate designs that meet project goals and client expectations in a highly technical and collaborative environment.

How does a virtual design professional typically collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams?

Virtual Design professionals often serve as a bridge between architects, engineers, and construction teams by creating and managing digital models that facilitate clear communication and coordination. They use tools like BIM (Building Information Modeling) to integrate input from various stakeholders, identify potential design clashes, and streamline workflows. Regular meetings and model-sharing sessions are common, ensuring that everyone is aligned and that updates are made efficiently. This collaborative approach helps minimize errors, optimize project timelines, and deliver higher-quality results.

What is virtual design?

Virtual design refers to the process of creating and visualizing digital models, environments, or products using specialized software and technology. Professionals in virtual design use tools like 3D modeling, CAD, and virtual reality to simulate designs before they are built or manufactured. This approach allows for efficient collaboration, error reduction, and improved creativity in fields such as architecture, engineering, and product development. Virtual design is increasingly important as industries seek to streamline workflows and enhance visualization capabilities.

Job description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a driven Campaign Manager to join the Cloud Sales
Center (CSC) Customer Acquisition organization. This role sits at the intersection of sales
strategy, partner engagement, and pipeline generation, and is responsible for designing,
executing, and measuring prospecting campaigns that accelerate pipeline creation and
revenue realization for AWS inside sales teams across NAMER.
The CSC Campaign Manager is the connective tissue between AWS go-to-market priorities
and frontline execution. You will work backwards from Geo and Service pipeline goals to
build campaign prioritization frameworks, source and package sales plays, orchestrate
partner co-sell motions, and drive mechanisms like POWER Day that generate measurable
pipeline outcomes. This is not a marketing role; it is a sales-aligned program management
role that demands operational rigor, cross-functional influence, and a bias for action.
Impact and Scope
• Directly contribute to pipeline generation through well-executed campaign strategies
across one or more CSC segments (Enterprise, SMB, Greenfield, ISV, or Startups)
• Own the campaign execution calendar (Plan of Record) for assigned segments,
managing 15-25 sales plays per year
• Manage partner co-sell programming with moderate complexity, coordinating with 3-5
partners per quarter
• Deliver independently on campaign execution while seeking guidance from
leadership on strategic prioritization
• Support AWS market presence in NAMER through targeted prospecting programs,
events, and direct engagement
Track campaign attribution and pipeline tagging to demonstrate ROI and inform future
investment
Key job responsibilities
Campaign Strategy and Execution
• Work backwards from AWS Geo and Service pipeline goals to build campaign
prioritization with service-level offers, messaging, and go-to-market execution
• Develop detailed campaign project plans including: campaign goals, target audience,
messaging, calls to action, distribution channels, propensity-to-buy list assessment,
and campaign schedules
• Source, package, and quality-assure all campaign assets before they reach
Customer Acquisition Representatives (CARs), maintaining high standards for
frontline usability
• Build prospecting workflows, lead distribution mechanisms, and discovery guides that
enable CARs to execute campaigns effectively
• Obsess over the end customer experience and design campaigns that meet
customers where they are in their cloud journey
Partner Co-Sell Programming
• Develop and execute partner co-sell campaigns to accelerate incremental pipeline
through targeted motions (live and virtual)
Design partner playbooks defining roles, responsibilities, enriched contact delivery,
and success metrics
• Coordinate with partner stakeholders to align on target accounts, value propositions,
and campaign timelines
• Track partner-attached rates and campaign outcomes to validate and iterate on the
partner motion
Cross-Functional Alignment
• Collaborate with AWS Sales Leadership, WWSO, Specialty Sales, Marketing,
Business Development, and Partner teams to align campaign execution with business
priorities
• Serve as the point of contact for WWSO and industry teams, representing CSC
requirements and ensuring sales plays are adapted for segment-specific customer
profiles
• Orchestrate POWER Day execution for assigned segments, driving weekly
prospecting cadences with segment-specific targets
• Support customer-facing engagement at live and virtual events, or via direct
campaign execution including prospecting calls and discovery meetings
Reporting and Analytics
• Forecast, track, and report campaign effectiveness metrics (pipeline generated, lead
volume, conversion rates, partner-attached rates, PRR) to internal stakeholders
• Deliver weekly campaign reporting and contribute to Monthly Business Reviews
• Continually monitor, analyze, and tune campaigns to maximize conversion, pipeline,
and revenue generation
• Identify patterns in campaign performance data to improve technical and business
solutions within the CSC
