Job description

LDRM is looking for a Formality Review Clerk to work in Alexandria, VA. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Alexandria, VA. Responsibilities * Operate OC-PREX system to capture required information from application images in eDRS for Data entry (must operate both systems simultaneously). and other Application windows such as PDP, FPP, TTS, Deltek, etc.
* Use USPTO Formalities procedures to calculate Filing Fee, check Pre-Grant Publication requirements, and application requirements for Examination. * Quality review all works with emphasis on Filing Receipts and Notices ensuring they are corrected before it gets mailed out to applicant.
* Identify indexing and scanning errors for correction. * Work must be performed with a minimum Production & Quality Standard as task assigned.
* Provide production, hours, and error status reports as required.
* Follow established safety, fire and health regulations.
* May be assigned to other areas as necessary to reduce backlog, or to assist with increased workload or special projects.
* Will be required to refer Government representatives and inspectors to a more senior level worker in order to resolve questions or problems.
* Must be courteous and respectful to others.
* Keep work areas neat and clean. Qualifications * Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a government background check and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
* Must have High school diploma/GED.
* One (1) year clerical/administrative experience.
* Experience using Microsoft Office application environment and performing data entry. * Accurate typing skills at 40 wpm. * Excellent English comprehension in speaking, reading and writing.
* Attention to details at all times. * Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Desired Qualification: * Two years clerical experience and/or working with legal documents
* Associates degree. * Above average proficiency in using a personal computer and various software applications.
* One year experience in USPTO Formality Review operations.
